Steeped in controversy, the IOC today unveiled its plan
to replace their iconic rings with the font Verdana.
This follows a similar move by Swedish furniture and
homewares giant Ikea in 2009.

Sources close to the Stuttgart based brand design
consultancy stated “We underlined it for emphasis,
and to reinforce their online presence.”

IOC President, Jacques Rogge did not refuse to comment,
however remains oblivious.
